The Serengeti Park

The Serengeti is one of the most famous safari destinations in the world and offers a breathtaking backdrop for unforgettable wildlife adventures. This endless savannah land stretches over 30,000 square kilometres in Tanzania and is home to the legendary ‘Big Five’ (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino) as well as a fascinating variety of wildlife.

Known for the Great Migration, when over two million wildebeest, zebra and gazelles migrate across the plains in search of fresh grassland, the Serengeti is a true natural wonder. This spectacular natural spectacle, which takes place every year between June and October, attracts travellers from all over the world and offers unforgettable photo opportunities and unique observations.

In addition to the impressive wildlife, the Serengeti also offers picturesque landscapes, from vast grasslands to rugged hills and acacia forests. Numerous luxurious lodges and exclusive safari camps allow visitors to experience the beauty of the wilderness up close without having to compromise on comfort and first-class service.

Whether you go on a game drive with an experienced guide or relax by the campfire at sunset – a safari in the Serengeti promises adventure, luxury and unrivalled moments in the African wilderness.

The Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’, is a true jewel of Tanzania and one of the most impressive safari destinations in the world. This huge volcanic crater, the largest of its kind on earth, stretches over 260 square kilometres and offers an unparalleled concentration of wildlife in a spectacular landscape.

The crater floor, around 600 metres deep, is home to an incredible variety of species. Around 25,000 animals live here, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos and numerous species of antelope. Particularly fascinating: the Ngorongoro Crater is one of the few places in Africa where you can see the endangered black rhino in the wild. Flamingos also gather at the crater lakes and offer a colourful spectacle.

The landscape of the crater is just as breathtaking as the wildlife: green savannahs, acacia forests, swamps and a glistening salt lake create a varied panorama that captivates visitors. The crater itself is a remnant of an ancient volcano and offers a unique backdrop for safaris.

Luxurious lodges on the crater rim offer spectacular views of this natural wonder and allow you to experience the sunrise over the expanse of the crater – an experience you will never forget. A safari in the Ngorongoro Crater combines unrivalled game viewing with the unique beauty of an ancient volcanic landscape that is unparalleled in its form and biodiversity.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden treasures, offers an unrivalled safari experience off the beaten track. The park stretches over 2,850 square kilometres and is best known for its huge herds of elephants and majestic baobab trees that dominate the picturesque landscape.

During the dry season, from June to October, thousands of animals – including wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala and gazelle – migrate along the Tarangire River, which is a vital source of water all year round. This impressive concentration of wildlife makes the park an ideal destination for spectacular game viewing.

In addition to elephants, visitors can also see predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs in the wild. Birdwatchers also get their money’s worth here, as the Tarangire National Park is a paradise for ornithologists with over 550 bird species.

The park’s landscape is diverse: vast savannahs, dense acacia forests and swampy areas provide a varied backdrop for every safari. The mighty baobab trees, which dominate the landscape and give the park a unique atmosphere, are particularly impressive.

Tarangire National Park offers a mixture of adventure and tranquillity in the midst of unspoilt nature. Away from the tourist crowds, it is the perfect destination for travellers looking for an authentic and wild safari experience where nature takes centre stage.
