What started as an unforgettable vacation became a vision: together with our local partners, we founded Tanzania Deluxe. With passion and local expertise, we create sustainable trips that are not only unforgettable, but also make a positive difference.
An unforgettable vacation and the beginning of a special partnership
In the summer, my wife and I (Sven Elsinger) made our dream come true and spent two weeks in beautiful Tanzania.
Our vacation in Tanzania not only gifted us with breathtaking landscapes and fascinating animal encounters, but also with wonderful human encounters. During our trip, we had the great fortune to meet two extraordinary people: Nicolas, an experienced safari guide whose knowledge of nature and its inhabitants made a deep impression on us, and Moses, a dedicated hotel employee whose warm-hearted manner made every moment unforgettable. Both impressed us with their warmth, their passion for their work and their exceptional professionalism.
After our return, we couldn’t stop thinking about how we could help Nicolas and Moses realize their dreams and reach their full potential. This gave rise to the idea of creating something sustainable and meaningful: a joint project that not only strengthens our bond, but also opens up new perspectives and inspires people.
With this goal in mind, we founded a company in Germany to support the project in Tanzania. Our focus is on marketing, administration and the financial basis to make the vision a reality. At the same time, we founded a company in Tanzania together with Nicolas and Moses. Here, both act as equal business partners, contributing their knowledge, experience and local connections – a perfect symbiosis of local expertise and our support.
We are particularly proud that our son Torben is on board. With his in-depth expertise in marketing and his experience as an event manager, he brings a breath of fresh air and innovative ideas to the company. His commitment and know-how will make a decisive contribution to driving our joint project forward and making it a success.
Together, we are working hand in hand to build a sustainable, future-oriented company that goes far beyond economic success. It is a project that not only enriches our own lives, but also opens up new opportunities for Nicolas and Moses and at the same time has a positive impact on the community in Tanzania.
